Coach Lou Colsant
Lou Colsant grew up in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago and played AAA hockey for Team Illinois. After, he played two years in the North American Hockey League (Jr. A) where he was a two-time Allstar with the Springfield Jr. Blues & Compuware Ambassadors and ranked as the top college prospect in the league by Michigan Hockey Magazine. In addition, Lou was chosen to play on the United States Select 17 Team Pacific Cup in Shin Yokohama, Japan, where he led the team in goals. He was also selected by The Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds in the OHL Draft. Following that, Lou received a full Division 1 Hockey Scholarship to play for The Ohio State Buckeyes, where they earned a spot in the Frozen Four. Post college, Lou played professional hockey in the East Coast Hockey League for The Birmingham Bulls.
Lou is passionate about all thing's hockey and has three years of coaching experience both for Squirt and Peewee AA Teams with the Admirals, and Mite 8U with The Cyclones.
