I am coach Jim Allen, I live in North Aurora with my partner Jerri-Ann Bresnahan and our dog Sammie (we rescued him in June of 2020) and he is 7 years old. My hobbies outside of coaching are cooking, golfing, playing tennis, racquetball and fishing. My favorite players are, Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane, it's a toss up for different reasons.

I grew up playing Youth Hockey with Elmhurst Huskies, Park Ridge Hornets, Chicago Jesters, Addison Trail HS, Franklin Park Jets Junior A and B, Chicago Junior Blackhawks Junior A, College of DuPage NJCAA. and a former men's leaguer at FVIA. My favorite experiences as a player were winning NIHL championship Peewee AA division with the Park Ridge Hornets, competing in Junior B and Junior A Nationals with the Franklin Park Jets and competing in NJCAA Nationals with College of DuPage

I started coaching 4 years ago, Mite Gold (Head Coach), Squirt Silver (Head Coach) , Peewee Bronze (Head Coach), Bantam Bronze (Assistant Coach). My favorite experience as a coach so far has been reaching NIHL championship game with Cyclones Mite Gold and being name NWHL coach of the year with Cyclones Peewee Bronze.
